Over the last few months I’ve been going through the media’s coverage of Donald Trump, from his arrival on the New York real estate scene to his dalliances with politics twenty five years later. This autumn, I’ll be bringing the trash heap of contemporary coverage up to date for our paid subscribers, but as Donald Trump’s trial for fraud kicks off in New York, it seems like an opportune time to put it all in one place. Given the subject, I can’t imagine anyone really enjoying this collection of articles — 47 and counting — but I hope it will help illustrate just how dishonest and craven Trump’s business career has been, and why this trial is happening at all.
