Leaving bagels off the list is dumb, yes.

Bagels and I are very happy together, most happiest when upon the sliced halves rests sufficient lebneh (the evil spawn of cream cheese and sour cream)...

I am one of Swanny’s oldest friends and have already put in this request. However, he rarely listens to me so I thought I’d follow up with you. Please check out the The Sloppy Joe sandwich from either the Town Hall Deli in South Orange, NJ or the Millburn Delicatessen in Millburn. Both are a short train ride away, 2 stops apart. These are not your typical ground beef sloppy Joe’s. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nj.com/food/2019/11/these-2-nj-delis-are-famous-for-their-sloppy-joes-but-which-does-it-best.html%3foutputType=amp

Also. Come to Philly. Best sandwiches in the world and I’m not talking about Cheesesteaks.

Your writing is a marvelous, thank you so much. Too soft a bagel too toast like and its a no go for me. I have one a day and they can be practically burnt..too lightly toasted and it misses the mark for me. Really enjoyed the link to the song. That was great. The bagels of Odessa. Can't forget them.

I am 100% having a bagel tomorrow morning. We brought 6 back from Bergen County and froze them. Tomorrow they will be mine! I'm thinking egg and cheese? Bacon egg and cheese? Bacon egg and cream cheese??

I like to say bagels should taste like the tears of my people.
