The beloved Chinese street food is one good ass sandwich
Growing up in England and visiting various parts of Europe as a child-thru-young-adult, I ate a lot of things that are hard to find in America -- and that cause most Americans to go "Ew!" -- but I hadn't eaten horse until I visited Moscow about a decade ago. At least, I _think_ it was horse. My partner still insists it was "beef" -- because eating horse would have been a bridge too far for them (we were served a number of "mystery meats" on that trip!).
