I know this must sound strange to you but every time I read you I am overwhelmed by your courage. You are a courageous person and writer. I finished Culture Warlords and marveled at how brave you were and I read this and marvel again.

if anyone's in the mood, the painting in this article's header shows up—along with many more w/ similar vibes—right before the title page of <Mystical Landscapes: From Vincent van Gogh to Emily Carr> (2016, Art Gallery of Ontario)

It's got a ton of amazing stuff incl. Georgia O'Keeffe, Magritte, Munch, etc., etc.
